    Tour Plan

Day 1 Discover Amboseli's Natural Wonders

Begin your safari adventure with a pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or airport and a drive to the stunning Amboseli National Park. Known for its herds of gentle giants and the breathtaking vistas of Mount Kilimanjaro, this park offers a magical introduction to Kenya's wildlife. Arrive at your camp around noon and take the opportunity to indulge in a tasty lunch and a quick exploration of the beautiful campgrounds and exclusive amenities available to you there. Then head out on your first game drive to marvel at the sight of Amboseli's giants wading through swamps and grazing through plains—colossal elephants, hulking hippos, imposing buffalos, lofty giraffes, topped off by majestic Mt Kili in the background. As twilight descends, return to camp for a delicious sundowner dinner and relax as the sounds of the wild serenade you into the night.

    Day 2 Amboseli Tapestry

Wake up to a symphony of birdsong and the tranquil ambience of Amboseli's wilderness, as the sun's golden glow over the swamplands and acacia woodlands. On this day, you may opt for an all-day game drive with a picnic lunch in the wild or two game drives separated by a leisurely break at camp during the midday heat—taking advantage of the fresh pool, relaxing beauty spa, or charming lounge to recharge before your afternoon adventure. During your game drives, wander the park's famed swamplands, grasslands, and woodlands while keeping an eye out for big cats on a hunt. Will you get to see a lion pride surrounding a singled-out zebra? A cheetah speeding after a gazelle? Or, with luck, a sneaky leopard getting ready to ambush an unsuspecting impala? Furthermore, two optional activities are available for you today. If you're keen on cultural enrichment, visit a Maasai village to learn about their traditions, crafts, and famous, vibrant dances. And if you'd like a whole new perspective for your safari (such as a literal aerial perspective), go for a breathtaking hot air balloon ride. Return to camp at sunset for a sumptuous dinner and possibly a sweet drink at the rustic bar, recollecting the fantastic moments spent in Amboseli and hyping yourself up for the following destinations of your adventure.

Day 3 A Day by the Lake Naivasha

Say goodbye to Amboseli after breakfast as you journey to the stunning Lake Naivasha, nestled in the heart of the awe-inspiring Great Rift Valley. En route, stop at a scenic viewpoint to admire the sweeping Naivasha vistas in all their glory. Arrive at your lakeside resort in time for a freshly prepared lunch. Relax and soak in the serene atmosphere, surrounded by lush gardens and sparkling waters. In the afternoon, set off on a tranquil boat ride across Lake Naivasha. Spot pods of curious hippos poking their heads above the water, waterbucks gracefully grazing along the shore, whimsical monkeys playing in the trees, and over 400 species of birds which call Lake Naivasha home—including the African fish eagles, great white pelicans, vibrant pink flamingos, colourful kingfishers—turning this lake into a vivid and lively waterscape. As evening approaches, return to the resort for a delightful dinner. End the day with a quiet nightly stroll or unwind in the comfort of your cosy rooms, serenaded by the soothing symphony of the lake and its inhabitants.

Day 4 Into the Heart of the Masai Mara

After a refreshing breakfast, set off for the legendary Masai Mara National Reserve. The journey—which also serves as a game drive—takes you through the vibrant Great Rift Valley, passing picturesque landscapes, cultural landmarks, and untamable wildlife. Arrive at your camp in time for a sumptuous lunch, where you can recharge and take in the luxurious facilities and scenic views of the vast Mara plains. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive in the Mara. The reserve's sprawling savannahs and dense riverine forests provide a stunning backdrop for encounters with Africa's iconic Big Five. Watch as graceful lionesses gently nurse their cubs, galloping zebras kick up dust clouds across the plains, snorting warthogs dart comically through the grasslands, and so much more. As the sun sets, painting the horizon in vibrant hues, return to camp for a delectable dinner. Spend the evening enjoying the camp's amenities or sharing stories by the fire before settling in for a peaceful night surrounded by the sounds of the Mara wilderness.

Day 5 Mara Magic In The Making

Rise and watch the savannah come alive with the calls of birds, the sight of grazing herbivores, and the distant roar of lions. After breakfast, choose between a full-day exploration with a bush picnic or morning and afternoon drives for a more paced and relaxed experience. The Mara has its own share of wildlife spectacles to offer, such as a 3-way battle for a fresh carcass between a couple of fiery male lions, a clan of cackling hyenas, and a flock of exasperating vultures. Also, dignified rhinos lumbering through the bushes, maybe even some ill-advised lion cubs making the mistake of trying to play with a short-tempered skunk. Also, if your visit coincides with the Great Migration, witness the awe-inspiring river crossings, where hordes of wildebeests and zebras brave crocodile-infested waters in search of greener pastures. In the evening, return to camp for a farewell dinner under the stars. Toast to the day's adventures by the fire or relax in the lounge, cherishing the magic of your last night in the wild. Furthermore, on this day, you get yet another chance to go on a hot air balloon ride or a Maasai village visit. Whether you skipped one (or both) at Amboseli or had so much fun the previous time you want to do them again, this is your opportunity to have at it.

    Day 6 Goodbye, For Now.

As your safari nears its end, enjoy one last breakfast surrounded by the sights and sounds of the Mara's wilderness, reminding you of all the incredible wildlife encounters and breathtaking landscapes that have made this journey unforgettable. Depart for Nairobi with lunch en route, reminiscing about the vibrant savannahs and the warmth of Kenya's people. Upon arrival, you'll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, marking the conclusion of this remarkable adventure. We can't wait to take you on another epic safari expedition throughout Kenya, and we hope you can't, too.
