Arriving around lunchtime, you'll check in at your safari camp, settle in, and enjoy a delicious, welcoming meal with time to soak in your stunning surroundings and partake in a couple of activities before your next expedition into the wild. In the afternoon, set out on a thrilling game drive, where you'll encounter Amboseli's famous herds of elephants wandering the plains and bathing in the swamps, giraffes grazing acacia trees, a pride of lions and a pack of hyenas having a dispute over a fresh zebra carcass, a barely visible leopard lazing up in a tree, and so much more—all framed by the dramatic and towering backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Keep your eyes peeled for incredible photo opportunities! As the sun dips below the horizon, return to camp for a hearty dining experience.
