Reservations

When making a reservation and Payment please quote the tour number or the specialized itinerary of the client, intended date for arrival and departure, number of people traveling in the party, sleeping arrangements and flight details, if known. This will ensure that our arrangements will be smooth. Payments can be made by Direct Bank Transfer or Credit Card (Master card, Visa, Visa Electron, American Express and JCB.

Payment Policy

A deposit of 30% is required at the time of booking. The balance is due 30 days before the commencement of the tour program. If the reservation is made within 25 days of departure the whole amount must be paid at the time of confirmation.

Cancellation Policy

Reservations that are canceled, reduced in length of stay, or reduced in the number of occupancies are subject to cancellation and no-show fees. Following is the scale for cancellation charges:

  • 35% if canceled between 60 and 45days prior to arrival
  • 50% if canceled between 44 and 15 days prior to arrival.
  • 100% if canceled within 14 days or in the case of a ‘No Show’

Transport

Our safari vehicles are mainly the 4x4 safari land cruisers or the minivans which have a seating capacity of 7 passengers. All our vehicles come with a high frequency radio for constant communication between our guides while at the park. Mode of transport utilized will be dependent on the clients request or the route taken based on the specifications of the chosen itinerary. Fully trained and experienced English-speaking driver/guides are provided.

Traveler's Insurance

It is a requirement when booking safari, the client to buy travel insurance which is valid and effective. Persons not fit for long trips due to heart disease, chronic illness, physical handicap, advanced pregnancy or mental illness are advised not to participate in rigorous travel programs. Please all clients must have a yellow fever certificate upon arrival in all African countries.

Baggage

All baggage and personal belongings are at all times at the passenger's own risk.

Liability

While great effort and care is taken for the safety and security of luggage, we shall not be held liable for loss or damage to such items. All bookings are accepted on the specific condition that Ramja Safaris Ltd act only as agents of the passengers in all matters relating to hotel/Lodge accommodations, tours, transport. Etc. Ramja Safaris Ltd shall not be liable for injury, personal illness, loss or damage to a person or property in connection with any service resulting directly from act of God, detention, annoyance, delays, expenses arising from quarantine, strikes, thefts, pilferage, force majeure, failure of any means of conveyance to arrive or depart as scheduled, civil disturbances, terrorism, government restrictions or regulations and discrepancies or changes in hotel services in which Ramja Safaris Ltd has no control. Ramja Safaris Ltd reserves the right to employ sub-contracts to carry out all or part of the services agreed to be supplied. Ramja Safaris Ltd.’s liability to passengers carried in its own vehicles is governed by the respective laws of the country. Ramja Safaris Ltd cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to baggage.

Tour Prices

Ramja reserves the right to change any of the prices, services or other particulars contained in the itineraries at any time.

Animals Viewing

When it comes to game viewing, please be advised there are no guarantees. It is a privilege to see animals in their natural habitat. Take only photograph, leave only a footprint.

Passenger Information

Passengers should bring only soft-sided bags on safaris. All the passengers must have an Identification Card/Passport with them for internal flights. Baggage on internal flights is strictly limited to 15kgs per person (including hand luggage). Any excess baggage will be charged by the airline at check-in. Passengers arriving to Tanzania will be asked to present a valid Yellow Fever vaccination certificate. As an update - All travelers arriving in Kenya MUST have an e-visa. Visas are no longer available on arrival. For more information, visit; www.evisa.go.ke
PLEASE TAKE NOTE of the government directive that effective December 21st, 2021, proof of vaccination is required for admission into national parks, game reserves, hotels, and lodges.

Additional Remarks

We may have to reroute the itinerary or accommodate similar lodges in case of non-availability. Park fees may be changed without prior notice. This is beyond our control and any increase levied will be passed to you. All KWS Parks are plastic-free zones and only single-use plastic bottles are allowed On advancement of a deposit to Ramja Safari Ltd, the depositor agrees to be bound by the above terms and conditions
