Travel through the breathtaking Great Rift Valley, pausing at a scenic viewpoint to admire the dramatic land and waterscapes before arriving at your lodge in time for lunch. After your midday meal, feel free to indulge in camp amenities, such as relaxing in the elegant lounge, having a stimulating drink at the cosy bar, or even a refreshing dip in the swimming pool. In the afternoon, venture into the park for an exhilarating game drive. Marvel at the flocks of great white pelicans preening their feathers, and the other 450+ species of birds that call Nakuru home. Also, mighty rhinos lumbering through the bush, baboons playing in the trees, and, with luck, you might even catch sight of an elusive leopard ambushing a lone antelope. As the sun sets, return to the lodge for a delightful dinner. Spend the evening unwinding by the lounge fireplace or gazing at the stars from your private balcony.

The drive takes you through the rolling hills and plains of the Great Rift Valley, with an en-route game drive offering glimpses of Kenya’s wildlife along the way. What will you get to see first? A herd of gentle giants heading to a nearby swamp? Or maybe a lone lioness with an adorable newborn cub in her mouth, gently transporting it to a safer location? Arrive at your superb lodge by midday, where a warm welcome and a delicious lunch await. Take time to relax and explore the stunning grounds and inviting amenities before heading back out for another game drive in the Masai Mara. The afternoon brings thrilling wildlife interactions—From a pride of lions and a herd of buffalo fighting over a waterhole to a far less stressful but more amusing instance of an immature young leopard making the mistake of taking on a porcupine. As twilight descends, return to the lodge for a sumptuous dinner.

Begin your day with an optional hot air balloon safari, soaring above the savannah for breathtaking views of the wildlife below, followed by a breakfast in the bush. Spend the rest of the day exploring the Mara’s vibrant landscapes with either a full-day game drive and picnic lunch in the bush or two shorter drives with a relaxing midday break at the lodge. Keep your camera ready for extraordinary encounters—a cheetah's hard work and hunt ruined by a hyena which heard the nearby commotion and came to steal the kill, two male rhinos battling it out to impress nearby females, and, if you timed your safari well, witness the Great Migration unfold with millions of wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, and more, travel in unison in search of fresh food and water. In the afternoon, you may opt for a visit to a traditional Maasai village. Immerse yourself in their fascinating culture, vibrant dances, and rich history. As the day winds down, return to the lodge for a farewell dinner.
